Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Bengaluru, Karnataka, invites a Senior Engineer for Automated Driving to join a global team building best-in-class software for ADAS and autonomous driving in MB passenger cars. You will contribute to generation-6 algorithms and ensure customer readiness across MB carlines.

Responsibilities include developing ADAS software for L2/L2 Plus/L3, planning and control modules, and delivering high quality, well-documented code.

Qualifications

• Experience in ADAS domain - Driving or parking.
• Proficient in algorithm development using C++, data structures & design patterns.
• Experience in writing requirement specifications, functional design specifications and implementation of design.
• Hands on experience in implementing mathematical equations / algorithms.
• Hands-on experience in analyzing legacy implementations and refactoring code.
• Good understanding of the SW build environment and build process – compilation, linking, etc.
• Exposure to configuration management tools like GIT and requirement management tools, e.g. DNG
• Hands-on experience in working with code analysis tools, e.g. Astree, QAC
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR RTE layer is an advantage
• Experience in python scripting is an advantage
• Exposure to Competitive coding sites like Codeforces, Codechef, is an advantage

About the role:

The role involves Algorithm development of Generation-6 ADAS functions and making it customer ready for different MB carlines
