Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a Senior Engineer based in Pune, India with strong embedded C++ experience and expertise in industrial communication protocols. The role focuses on developing quality software for embedded systems, leveraging Linux, RTOS concepts, and FPGA tooling.

You will work with BACNet, Modbus, TCP/IP, HTTP and other protocols, ensuring robust software design and efficient IPC and multithreading. Strong English communication and hands-on FPGA experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science / electronics/ E&TC/ Instrumentation engineering
• 5+ Years experience in relevant field
• Experience in embedded programming
• Proficient in C++ and FPGA programming
• Good understanding of OS, data structures, algorithms, OOP and design patterns

Operating system/RTOS concept, multithreading and IPC concepts, sound knowledge and experience of developing Linux shell scripting, Makefiles and application programming. Working knowledge of Linux programming interface.

• Experience in embedded programming
• Extensive experience of using C++ in products.
• Sound understanding of Operating Systems, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming and design patterns.
