Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3–8 years of experience in cryogenic tanks and pressure vessels for projects in India.

The role requires hands-on design work using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PDM, and involves basic engineering, plant layout, and vendor coordination. You will prepare detailed designs, select materials, ensure compliance with statutory and ISO standards, and contribute to tendering layouts while interfacing with clients and suppliers to drive successful

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 8 years of experience preferably in Cryogenic, Pressure Vessels & Boilers.
• Computer Skills in AutoCAD, Solid Works, PDM

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design of tanks / pressure vessels for execution of projects.
• Carry out the engineering design activities basic engineering, plant layout and system engineering necessary to fulfil the requirements of the assigned project work.
• Complete all the specifications and documentation required for the manufacture and/or procurement of equipment necessary for the successful execution of the assigned work.
• Select the materials and components required.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant statutory requirements and ISO standards, as applicable.
• Prepare for tendering layout designs.
• Ensure that all work undertaken conforms to the requirements of the Companys Quality System.
• Interface with the Client and vendors as required for purchase and fabrication work.
