Job summary
Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bangalore, India, is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Automotive Graphics Customer Engineering team. You will act as the technical interface between Qualcomm’s engineering groups and IVI/ADAS customers, driving issue resolution and customer success on Qualcomm-powered platforms.
You will work on Linux-based drivers and graphics across Android and QNX environments, perform RCA, and develop debugging scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems or graphics engineering.
- Working experience with Linux kernel device drivers, system stability, and boot architecture.
- Working experience with Android, QNX, and hypervisor-based platforms (e.g., HQX).
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Working knowledge of Java and Python (scripting, automation, data extraction).
- Familiarity with debug tools: GDB, ramdump/coredump analysis, memory profiling tools.
Responsibilities

- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
