Qualifications

• Carry out inspections of electrical installations and document in field inspection report.
• Planning, supervision and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment used in the mines.
• Ensure statutory compliances of electrical systems associated with crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, workshops, weighbridges, lighting and other mines electrical installations.
• Monitor power consumption, specific energy consumption and equipment efficiency and identify opportunities for energy saving.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of HT/LT switchgear, cables, earthing and lightning protection systems under personal supervision certified electrical supervisor.
• Ensure proper applicable permits & standards during maintenance/rectifications related to electrical safety in mines.
• Ensure registers, records and returns as per statutory requirement DGMS and Indian Electricity Rules/Regulations.
