Zusammenfassung

Veolia Environnement SA seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to prepare and approve electrical engineering documents, SLDs, and P&IDs, ensuring interlocks and alarms are properly integrated.

You will review vendor docs, coordinate with Purchasing for orders, and develop I&C portions of P&IDs and control diagrams for DCS/PLC systems. 8–10 years in design engineering is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• BE/Btech in Electrical & Instrumentation Engg with detailed engineering experience.
• 8–10 years of design engineering experience in water/wastewater or related fields.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and approve Basic Electrical Engineering documents (Load List, Transformer Sizing, etc.).
• Prepare Key SLDs and understand MCC/HT control schematic, control panel, VFD GA/Schematic drawings.
• Incorporate interlocks, alarms for electrical equipment (Transformers, VFDs, MCCs, LCP, LCS).
• Prepare sizing calculations for power cables, lighting, earthing.
• Review layouts (cable trays, earthing, lighting, equipment layouts).
• Prepare electrical equipment installation diagrams, cable routing, MCC room layouts.
• Prepare and issue indents for electrical equipment (MCC, Transformer, cable, LCS/LCP/VFD).
• Review vendor documents and coordinate with Purchase for orders and approvals.
• Prepare BOQ for electrical items.
• Develop I&C portion of P&ID, attend HAZOP with teams and customers.
• Develop IO lists, loop diagrams, control valve sizing, logic diagrams, DCS/PLC design, I&L and installation design.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS I&C architecture and appropriate hardware selection.
• Interface with suppliers for preliminary costing and submittal reviews.
• Prepare indents for I&C items and review vendor documents with Purchase for orders and TC release.

Job Description

Electrical Engineering

• Preparation and approval of Basic Electrical Engineering documents such as Electrical Load List, Transformer Sizing ,etc.
• Preparation of Key SLD and understanding of the MCC /HT control schematic, control panel, VFD GA/Schematic drawings etc.
• Should be able to understand and incorporate / showing interlocks, Alarms, etc. For Electrical equipments (Transformers, VFDs, MCCs, LCP, LCS etc.).
• Preparation of Sizing calculation- Power cable, Lighting, Earthing Calculations etc.
• Review of Layouts- Cable tray, Earthing, Lighting ,Equipment layout etc.
• Preparation of Electrical equipment installation diagram, Cable routing, MCC room layouts drawings etc.
• Should be able to prepare Power and control cable schedules.
• Preparation & issue Indents for all Electrical equipment’s such as MCC, Transformer, cable, LCS/LCP/VFD, Cable tray, earthing Material, Cable gland /Lugs, Power JB etc.
• Should be able to review Vendor Documents i.e. Transformer, MCC, motor, cable tray, cable etc. and coordinate with Purchase Dept for Placement of Orders and release Manufacturing Clearances.
• Preparation of BOQ for all Electrical Items.

Develop the I&C portion of P&ID’s. Attend P&ID review and HAZOP meetings with internal teams and customers.

Develop documents including IO Lists, Loop diagrams, Control Valve sizing Logic diagrams, Shutdown Keys, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Index, Setpoint Lists, DCS / PLC Design, Instrument Location and Installation Design.

Knowledge of control system architecture for PLC/DCS and HMI systems and select appropriate hardware as well as review the documents.

Interface with suppliers for preliminary costing, instrument component selection, and submittal document review.

Preparation & issue Indents for all I&C Items. Should be able to review Vendor Documents with Purchase Dept for Placement of Orders and release TC, validate POD and release Manufacturing Clearances.

General

Interface with customers regarding E&I designs and submitted design documents.

Support commercial engineers, as well as to other engineers within the team to develop their technical and commercial expertise for tender purposes.

Support project execution through review of the control documents, engineering drawings, and manuals for projects. Support plant commissioning and performance testing.

Document lessons learned from issues during commissioning and provide feedback to E&I Engineering team and LPE.

Preparation of Documents for Submissions / resubmissions with CRS / approval from Client / Consultant.

Qualifications

• BE/Btech in Electrical & Instrumentation Engg with detailed engineering experience. (preferably in the field of water & waste water treatment).
• Minimum 8- 10 Years of Experience in Design engineering
