Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced embedded software module lead to develop BMS software for BESS systems.

You will drive MCU & AFE development, CAN and ISO SPI protocols, and lead small feature teams ensuring V&V coverage and timely delivery.

Strong background in MISRA, static analysis, CI/CD, HIL/SIL testing and IEC/UL safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• BTech in CSE/EEE is required.
• 6–10 years of experience in embedded software.
• MCU & AFE with S32K3 family and AFE daisy-chaining.
• Expertise in TPL/isoSPI and CAN protocols.
• BMS features: SOC/SOH/SOP with temp compensation and balancing.
• Functional safety: SIL2 implementations with CRC, watchdog, memory tests.
• Standards: IEC 60730-1, IEC 61508 SIL2, UL 1973.
• Tools/methods: CI/CD, MCAL, MISRA, Polyspace; HIL/SIL testing; CAN, Ethernet, Modbus; Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead small feature teams and mentor juniors.
• Develop BMS software for BESS systems.
• Deliver assignments proactively with on-time, quality delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities :

You will be part of a passionate embedded software development team who develop BMS Software for BESS systems thereby providing lifeline for critical ecosystems.

You will act as a module lead for the specific modules and thereby play a pivotal role in finishing the jigsaw puzzle

You are expected to take up assignments proactively and delivering on-time, quality meeting customer expectations

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

BTech in CSE / EEE

Experience : 6 years - 10 years

Mandatory/requires Skills :

1. MCU & AFE: Deep expertise with S32K3 family, AFE daisy-chaining, diagnostics.

2. Communication Protocols: Expert knowledge in TPL/isoSPI, CAN

3. BMS Functions: Advanced SOC/SOH/SOP with temp compensation, passive + active balancing, fault detection (open-wire, leakage, thermal).

4. Functional Safety: Implementation of SIL2-compliant safety mechanisms (CRC, watchdog, memory tests).

5. Standards & Compliance: Active implementation against IEC 60730-1, IEC 61508 SIL2, UL 1973.

6. Tools & Methods: CI/CD integration, MCAL, static analysis (MISRA, Polyspace etc). HIL/SIL testing. CAN, Ethernet, Modbus tools, Scripts (Python Automation)
