Eightfold AI is expanding its Data Platform team in Bangalore. We build scalable data life cycle management, from ingest to archival, enabling millions of users to access diverse talent data. You will work on data integrations, APIs, and large-scale systems, collaborating across engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

The Data Platform Team

at Eightfold is responsible for building and scaling the complete data life cycle management: starting from bringing data from different external systems, normalizing them to a common data model, keeping them updated, archive them as needed, auditing to check the health of the platform, provide API access to the data, etc. We’re looking for engineers with a systems and data mindset who are curious and are looking to learn and ship code. Some of the interesting projects the team has worked on in the past include a generic framework to sync millions of records from various systems to keep the data updated, a framework to identify and automatically fix data inconsistencies between different storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data integrations and frameworks to ensure data quality/integration efficiency
• Solve complex and technically challenging problems on a large scale
• Build REST API endpoints and also consume external REST endpoints
• Build our application stack on AWS
• Our platform is used by millions of users and processes terabytes of data and our team supports a multitude of services that leverage this data
• Learn about data storage systems like Mysql, Solr, Redshift, DynamoDB, S3, Redis

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product development
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems
• (Bonus) Previous experience working on data platforms
