Qualifications

• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink modeling, testing, and validation.
• Experience with TargetLink and Embedded Coder for auto code generation.
• Hands-on MIL, SIL, and PIL validation workflows.
• Familiarity with MAAB, MISRA, and HIS guidelines.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety concepts.
• Experience with build and flashing tools for automotive ECUs.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios from functional requirements.

• Support auto code generation with TargetLink/Embedded Coder.
• Address warnings/errors during TargetLink code generation.
• Conduct model/code complexity checks and runtime analyses.

The Senior Engineer in Transmission Software Verification & Validation (V&V;) will be responsible for performing MIL, SIL, and PIL testing of powertrain ECU control software using MATLAB/Simulink and TargetLink.

The role involves validating functionality, ensuring high-quality auto-generated code, and

collaborating with cross functional teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and

functional safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios for software components and systems based on functional requirements.
• Analyze and apply industry standards such as MAAB, MISRA, and HIS.
• Perform scaling and auto code generation using TargetLink or Embedded Coder.
• Analyze and resolve critical warnings/errors during TargetLink code generation.
• Conduct model/code complexity checks and runtime/performance analysis on production-level code.
• Develop strategies, tools, and automation scripts to enhance software development efficiency.
• Integrate powertrain software modules and generate flash/hex/build files.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 / Functional Safety (added advantage).
