Job summary

Altera in Penang, Malaysia (with Bengaluru as an additional location) is seeking a Senior Emulation Engineer to lead emulation strategy, develop advanced models, and drive pre-silicon validation across FPGA designs.

You will define and implement emulation methodologies, architect testbenches, collaborate with hardware and software teams, and build automation to improve efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ARM Cores, DDR, Ethernet and PCIe protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement emulation methodologies to accelerate pre-silicon verification and validation cycles.
• Architect, develop, and debug emulation testbenches for complex FPGA designs.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate and validate system-level functionality.
