Smartbox Ecommerce Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Navi Mumbai invites a Senior Embedded Hardware Developer to lead the complete hardware design lifecycle for embedded and IoT products.

You will own schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout, DFM/DFT, EMC considerations, and hardware bring-up while collaborating with firmware, manufacturing and supply chain teams. The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong Altium Designer skills, and a track record delivering production-ready hardware.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PCB design and hardware development for embedded or IoT products.
• Proficient in Altium Designer (preferred) and production-ready multi-layer PCB design.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete PCB design lifecycle from schematic to manufacturing release.
• Design multi-layer PCBs 4-12 layers for embedded/IoT products using Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools.
• Develop robust schematics with proper power management, protection circuits, signal integrity, and grounding considerations.
• Lead component selection balancing performance, availability, cost, and long-term supply chain requirements.

Broad Function:

We are looking for Senior Embedded Hardware Developer with minimum 6 years of experience who will be responsible for leading the complete hardware design lifecycle, from schematic capture and PCB layout through manufacturing release and product validation. The role requires expertise in multi-layer PCB design, component selection, hardware debugging, EMC compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver reliable, production-ready embedded and IoT products.

Requirements

Desired Experience Required:

• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, including power supplies, signal conditioning, and protection circuits.
  
• Hands-on experience in component selection, BOM optimization, and supply chain risk assessment.
  
• Proficiency in hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and other lab equipment.
  
• Good understanding of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN, RS-485, and Ethernet.
  
• Experience with EMC/EMI design principles and compliance requirements.
  
• Knowledge of DFM, DFT, PCB fabrication, and assembly processes.
