Job summary

SolarEdge Technologies Inc. in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to join a focused team delivering embedded software across device and cloud integrations.

You will work from the application layer down to drivers, shaping architecture, design, testing, and deployment within SolarEdge hardware products and field deployments. The role requires strong C programming, RTOS/IoT experience, and hands-on development with ADC/I2C/SPI/UART interfaces and CAN/RS-485.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming- must.
• Experience in RTOS and/or IoT operating systems – must.
• Experience with ADC, I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, RS-232, CAN bus – must.
• Experience with ARM SoC or similar – advantage.
• Experience LwIP IP stack, FreeRTOS – advantage.
• Experience with low level and drivers development – advantage.
• Other programming language (C++, Python) - advantage.
• Experience with Wi‑Fi, openThread, Modbus – advantage.
• Experience with RF protocols (2.4G, subGig) – advantage.
