Job summary

Macroverse Industrial Solutions in Chennai is seeking an Installation Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and inspection of industrial cranes and lifting equipment. The role requires hands-on site exposure, a strong technical aptitude, and willingness to travel frequently across India.

The BE/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and relevant installation experience are preferred, with freshers welcome.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 5 years of experience in industrial equipment installation; crane/heavy machinery experience preferred.
• Freshers with strong technical aptitude are welcome.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electricals.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and installation procedures.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work at client sites across India.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in industrial/site environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission EOT, Gantry, Jib, and other industrial cranes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical layouts, and mechanical schematics.
• Inspect and align mechanical assemblies and verify electrical terminations.
• Conduct load testing and performance validation after installation.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams for timely execution.
• Prepare installation reports, checklists, and commissioning documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and installation standards.
• Support service and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and handover activities.
