Job summary

Axium Global Pvt Ltd in Mumbai's Andheri Delivery Centre seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design for diverse projects. You will guide a team of engineers and own deliverables from concept through tender documentation, reporting to the MEP Design & Engineering Team Leader.

You will design LV/HV systems compliant with local codes and client briefs, carefully coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams on commercial, residential, retail, laboratory and hospital

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, retail, hospital or residential projects.
• Experience using electrical design software for carrying out electrical calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing electrical design layouts and using MS Office.
• Proven experience in managing client communication independently.
• Experience working with reputable global MEP engineering companies.
• Experience working on UK/Australia/Middle East projects.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Team Leader of MEP Design & Engineering.
• Responsible for the overall design of electrical systems and deliverables, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender Design/Documentation (technical specs, BOQ, schedules and drawings).
• Design LV/HV systems to current legislation and codes of practice for various building types per client brief.
• Work independently on electrical calculations and power/lighting/schematic mark-ups as per project requirements.
• Regularly communicating with the client and taking on design responsibilities for commercial, residential, retail, laboratory and hospital projects.
• Understand codes and standards local to project location and utilize the latest industry-leading software.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Team Leader of MEP Design & Engineering
