Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback and influence GPG improvement projects and transfer technology from R&D to engineering by writing design rules and trainings.
• Provide technical support to engineering, product management, marketing and sales needs and support benchmark activities.
• Act as project manager in multi-entity contexts and as reference for technical queries and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. How you will make an impact

1. You will be providing feedback and influence the GPG improvement projects (with electrical performance and or standardization content) and support the transfer of technology and knowledge from R&D to engineering department by writing design rules, preparing trainings and collaborating with design tools teams (CDSe/CDSm/STAR-X).
2. You will provide technical support to other departments when needed (engineering, product management, marketing and sales etc.) and support the Global Product Group management on benchmark activities and technical requests.
3. You will act as project manager in the contexts where more entities are involved and act as reference person on technical queries and designs review/optimization.
4. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a M.Sc / Bachelor education in Electrical Engineering field.
2. Existing work experience in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience on Liquid filled Transformers design.
3. Experience in design : Renewable ,Data Center ,Rectifier transformer with previous experience on failure analysis.
4. Experience on Electromagnetic Simulations with FEM, action and result oriented mindset with proven project management skills also with innovation spirit, "out of the box" thinking.
5. Excellent communication skills in English and outstanding team spirit.
6. Willingness to travel (about 15-20% of time).
