Job summary

Adani Capital Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical for on-site work in Raigarh.

The role focuses on leading electrical project execution in thermal power plant projects, ensuring timely installation, testing, and commissioning of critical equipment, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience: 6–12 years in electrical projects.

• Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchgear and GIS/AIS switchyards.

Senior Engineer - Electrical Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Execute electrical project activities in Thermal Power Plant projects. Monitor installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with project schedules, technical specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, consultants, and site teams. Track project progress and resolve technical issues during execution.

Electrical Systems Management

Oversee installation and commissioning of:

• Generators
• Transformers
• Switchgear (HT/LT)
• GIS/AIS Switchyards
• Bus Ducts
• Motors and MCCs
• UPS, Battery Systems & Chargers

Electrical Protection Systems

Plant Lighting Systems

Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems

Testing & Commissioning

Review and execute testing procedures and commissioning plans. Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Coordinate with OEMs and consultants during equipment testing. Ensure successful synchronization and system integration activities.

Contract & Vendor Management

Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors. Review contractor bills and certify work completion. Monitor contract compliance, progress, and performance. Coordinate with vendors for technical discussions and issue resolution.

Planning & Documentation

Prepare project schedules and progress reports. Review engineering drawings and technical documents. Ensure timely submission of reports, MIS, and project documentation. Facilitate punch point closure and project handover activities.

Safety & Quality

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations. Implement quality control procedures during execution. Conduct risk assessments and corrective actions. Promote safe work practices at project sites.

Qualifications

Diploma, B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Experience - 6-12 Years
