Qualifications

• Expertise in Power Distribution, load estimation, cable sizing, and panel design.
• Proficiency with design tools (AutoCAD, Revit/BIM) and calculation software.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; experience in MEP design consulting preferred.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Senior Electrical Design Engineer role is based in Coimbatore. The person in this position will lead electrical design for building and infrastructure projects, including load calculations, power distribution layouts, panel schedules, and equipment selection in line with project requirements and standards. Responsibilities include preparing detailed design drawings and documentation, coordinating with architectural, structural, and MEP teams, and reviewing designs to ensure safety, compliance, and constructability. The role involves supporting project planning, attending client and consultant meetings, resolving technical issues during design and execution, and mentoring junior engineers and designers. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will also contribute to quality assurance processes and help optimize designs for performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
