Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services seeks an experienced engineer with 5+ years in water and wastewater treatment to design and specify electrical systems. Responsibilities include preparing single line diagrams, instrument schedules, control philosophies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will handle power and control cable sizing, cable tray layouts, voltage drop calculations, and load balancing within LV/MV systems such as MCCs and transformers, while contributing to method statements, risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Water & Wastewater Treatment Industry.
• BE in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of single line diagram, instrument schedule, input to control philosophies.
• Power and control cable sizing, cable tray layouts, voltage drop calculation, load balancing.
• Control philosophy preparation.
• Material submittal preparation, input for shop drawing (guidance). Method statement and risk assessment preparation.
• Testing and commissioning method statement preparation.
• O&M manual preparation.
• Planning of LV/MV systems such as MCCs, transformers, fire alarm systems.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge to design above systems.
• Knowledge of energy efficient systems such as VFDs and soft starters in MCCs.
