Job summary

Sweco in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical designs for water and wastewater facilities, focusing on control systems, power supply design, and installation details. You will manage technical documents, ensure safety and quality standards, and support bid analysis.

You will work with a team of engineers to ensure project interfaces are smooth and designs comply with MAS and CDM regulations while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum B. Tech / M. Tech from an institution of repute.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of design in the water industry.
• An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation.
• The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT or Plant 3D as well as MS Office Software.
• Strong interpersonal / team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors

• Collaborate with the supply chain and provide technical bid analysis for their designs.
• Ensure all work meets technical standards, adhering to the MAS requirements and challenging when necessary.
• Drive excellence in health and safety by applying CDM regulations and creating safe designs.
• Maintain quality and consistency in all engineering technical documents and deliverables.
• Work closely with senior engineers and discipline heads to ensure thorough checking and approval of technical deliverables.
• Communicate effectively across teams to ensure technical excellence and elevate any potential issues to the Technical Manager.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical managers to ensure smooth project interfaces and share best practices.

Your Purpose
