International Education Agent (IEA HUB) seeks a Senior Education Counsellor for our Mumbai branch to guide prospective learners through the entire process of exploring, selecting, and applying for international education opportunities.

You will conduct detailed counseling sessions, advise on destinations and programs, manage applications end-to-end, and lead seminars; mentoring junior counselors and creating video content to support marketing and outreach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Education Counsellor in international student recruitment.
• Destination specialization across Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand or Ireland.
• Independent case management of university applications and visa documentation.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Teamwork and collaboration across multi-office environments.
• Excellent presentation and marketing initiative for seminars and content creation.
• Clear spoken and written English communication.

The Senior Education Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based at our Mumbai branch. This position is responsible for guiding prospective learners through the entire process of exploring, selecting, and applying for international education opportunities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting detailed, personalized counseling sessions to assess academic backgrounds, financial capacity, and long-term career goals.
• Recommending suitable study destinations, institutions, and courses while explaining entry requirements, offer conditions, and visa procedures.
• Managing student applications end-to-end, maintaining accurate CRM records, and maintaining follow-up pipelines from initial inquiry to enrollment.
• Public Speaking & Seminars: Delivering engaging, well-organized educational seminars, webinars, and information sessions for prospective students and parents.
• Proactive Content & Marketing: Proactively creating educational short-form videos and video content to support brand awareness, social media marketing, and student outreach.
• Liaising with institutional partners and regional representatives to resolve application queries efficiently.
• Mentoring junior counselors/telecallers and collaborating across cross-office teams to achieve collective recruitment targets.

Qualifications

• Experience & Industry Knowledge: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Education Counsellor in international student recruitment.
• Destination Specialization: Proven expertise in counseling students for target destinations (Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or Ireland).
• Independent Case Management: Demonstrated ability to handle complex student cases, university applications, and visa documentation independently without constant supervision.
• Time Management & Prioritization: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain workflow organization in a fast-paced setting.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills, eager to support colleagues and contribute to a positive multi-office culture.
• Presentation & Marketing Initiative: Confident in public speaking to conduct live seminars/webinars, and proactive in creating engaging educational video content for social media and marketing channels.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written English communication abilities to explain complex admission and visa procedures clearly.
• Education & Tech: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Counseling, or a related field; proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Agentcis, Zoho) and digital tools.
