About the Role

Provide EDI business and configuration support for K-C North America for both the Consumer and KCP sales organizations. Collaborate with other analysts to monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, providing a reliable exchange of electronic information between K-C and the customer. Drive continuous improvement for EDI processes and error reduction to enable touchless order flow. Successful EDI Sr Data Analysts have solid analysis skills, great communication (both written and verbal), work well in a highly collaborative environment, and manage/balance multiple projects to meet expected service levels with attention to detail.

In This Role, You Will Troubleshoot EDI transactions by monitoring electronic queues to quickly resolve inbound and outbound transmission errors and respond to e-mails and phone calls. Prioritize and expedite assistance based upon severity of situations. Analyze customer requirements to determine EDI configuration needs and system specifications. Create entries in system tables and map data between internal applications and standardized EDI formats to support. Apply industry rules and guidelines to ensure compliance. Manage system and tool security access based on role definitions. Generate, monitor, and report out EDI key performance indicators and scorecards to reveal issues and highlight system enhancement opportunities. Include actions taken to address red conditions. Establish continuous improvement targets and apply LEAN problem-solving techniques to improve system and process efficiencies and First Time Quality for EDI. Develop and maintain standard work documents for EDI processes, mapping specifications, and partner configurations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant field.
  • At least 4-10 years of experience in EDI or related IT roles.
  • Base understanding of SAP functionality in Order Management, Distribution, Material Master and Customer Master pertaining to EDI outputs, IDOCs, and Partner Profiles.
  • Experience with Open Text third party provider's solution and/or other EDI mapping tools.
  • Proven systems aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in EDI transactions (e.g. 850, 875, 846, 855, 856, 860, 865, 870, 880, 810, 864, 824).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, SQL, XML, CSV, and VB.Net.
  • Experience with a broad mix of technologies, IT infrastructure, and order processing.
  • Proficient in data access tools and PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Reporting Tools).
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to assess system issues, debug errors, and optimize processes.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in both oral and written communication to build relationships and collaborate with business teams.
  • Attention to detail and responsiveness to quickly resolve issues is a must.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to drive right first time and efficiencies.
  • Results and strategy oriented, project and risk management, and change management.
