Job summary

Grid Apps AI is seeking a Dynatrace platform specialist to help build and manage observability across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and containers. You will administer Dynatrace components, implement DQL/Grail queries, and configure RUM, synthetic monitors, and dashboards for enterprise clients.

Collaborate with SRE teams to define SLIs/SLOs, analyze performance bottlenecks, and drive incident remediation using AI-assisted insights.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven Dynatrace experience.
• Deep Dynatrace architecture knowledge (OneAgent, ActiveGate, Grail, Davis AI, DQL).
• Experience with RUM, synthetic tests, and transaction flow analysis.
• Linux/Unix admin, networking, and container runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain large-scale Dynatrace deployments across multi-cloud and on-premise environments.
• Install, upgrade, and configure Dynatrace components and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Job description

Help us build and manage enterprise observability environments acrossapplications,infrastructure, cloud and containerized environments. The role includesDynatrace platformadministration, monitoring, DQL/Grail, RUM, synthetic monitoring and SREinitiatives. You willcollaborate with enterprise clients and internal engineering squads todeliver end-to-endvisibility, automate incident root cause identification, and uphold highavailability formission-critical enterprise ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, administer, and maintain large-scale Dynatrace platformdeployments across multi-cloud and on-premise environments.
• Install, upgrade, and configure Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGates, andcloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop deep queries, metrics aggregations, and executive dashboardsusing Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail.
• Configure and maintain Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetic Web &API monitors, and session replay workflows.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to establishService Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), anderror budgets.
• Analyze application performance bottlenecks, microservice traces,database call latencies, and third-party API dependencies.
• Automate agent deployments, alerting policies, and management zonesutilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CDpipelines.
• Conduct proactive incident reviews, problem analysis using Davis AI, andprovide remediation recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven experience in Dynatrace platform administration,APM, and observability engineering.
• Deep expertise with Dynatrace architecture: OneAgent, ActiveGate, Grail,Davis AI, DQL, and Smartscape topology.
• Hands-on experience with Real User Monitoring (RUM), synthetic testscripting, and transaction flow analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration, networkingprotocols, and container runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Proficiency with SRE methodologies, observability metrics (RED and USEmethods), and alert correlation.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)for automation and API integrations.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting enterprise distributedapplications and microservices.

Good to Have

• Dynatrace Certified Associate, Professional, or Master certification.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry (OTel), Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle Cloud /EBS, or ServiceNow.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or Ansible.
