Job summary

Smart Energy Water is seeking a Product Engineer - Drupal to design and maintain Drupal-based websites. The role focuses on building modules, themes, and content structures using Drupal 9/10/11, while ensuring performance and security.

You will work on REST API integrations, multilingual setups, and decoupled Drupal implementations. This full-time on-site position is based in Noida, India, with exposure to AWS/Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on Drupal development with PHP and frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

Education

Minimum of a bachelorsdegree in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems,
engineering,
mathematics, statistics, social sciences or business/marketing or related fields.

Core Responsibilities

• 1. Develop and maintain websites using Drupal 9/10/11.
• 2. Build custom Drupal modules, themes, content types, views,paragraph, and workflows.
• 3. Perform website upgrades, migrations, security updates, and performance optimization.
• 4. Experience with Drupal multisite implementations
• 5. Experience with decoupled/headless Drupal.
• 6. API & Integration: REST APIs, JSON, third-party integrations.
• 7. Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure or Git
• 8. Experience implementing and managing multilingual websites, including content translation,
  language configuration, translation workflows, and Drupal language modules.
• 9. Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• 10. Experience developing responsive and cross-browser compatible websites using modern
  frontend development practices.
• 11. Good understanding of Drupal architecture, caching, configuration management, security best
  practices, and performance optimization.
• 12. Experience with MySQL/MariaDB and database optimization.
• 13. Good knowledge of Drush for Drupal administration, deployments, database updates,
  configuration import/export, and maintenance.
• 14. Understanding of technical SEO, clean URLs, redirects, metadata, XML sitemaps, and structured
  content.
• 15. Good understanding of UI/UX principles with the ability to design and implement user-friendly,
  responsive web pages.
• 16. Experience implementing and integrating Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for secure user
  authentication.
• 17. Hands-on experience with Okta integration for identity management, authentication, and
  access control.
