Zusammenfassung

CRA designs and manufactures custom‑engineered systems for Energy and Defence sectors. We require a Mechanical Draughtsman to draft P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings for process equipment and vessels.

You will build 3D models, maintain drawing standards, and prepare drawings for approval, fabrication, and as-built stages, while incorporating client markups and site comments.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Draughtsman (Mechanical)
• 4–8 years drafting P&IDs and mechanical drawings for process plants or equipment
• Experience producing P&IDs from scratch, not only modifying existing drawings
• Expert in AutoCAD, with knowledge of ISA 5.1 symbols and P&ID conventions
• Able to prepare fabrication drawings with weld symbols, tolerances and BOMs
• Strongly preferred: 3D modelling in AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks or Inventor, and piping isometrics

• Keep drawings to CRA’s drafting standards for title blocks, layers, numbering and revisions

Role Overview

You will prepare P&IDs, GA drawings and fabricationdrawings for CRA’s process equipment and packages from the markups of ourprocess and mechanical engineers. Your drawings go to clients for approval,into HAZOP reviews and to the fabrication shop, so accuracy and consistency arethe core of the job.
