We’re looking for a Senior Developer 2 to be part of making this happen.
You’re an experienced software developer who has the ability to perform programming tasks and large engineering projects with independence and expertise. You demonstrate mastery over software development practices, and easily develop reusable design patterns. You have worked closely in a global team of professionals with different cultures and backgrounds to form one unit with a strong sense of purpose. You will learn as you teach, making the whole more than the sum.
A highly skilled developer responsible for delivering major product features independently, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence across software development practices. Plays a key role in architecture, design, and strategic initiatives. This role is based in Bangalore, India and will require close collaboration with engineering teams in North America (USA and Canada). Arctic Wolf places a strong emphasis on delivering high‑quality outcomes with efficiency; candidates must demonstrate a consistent commitment to engineering excellence, quality, and operational efficiency in all aspects of software development. The role also requires a strong understanding of how AI tools can be applied across the SDLC to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.
Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve efficiency in coding, debugging, testing, and documentation activities across the SDLC. Apply AI‑assisted workflows to complete development tasks more efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience training or enabling other team members to effectively use AI tools is desired. Maintain a strong focus on quality and efficiency, ensuring all deliverables meet Arctic Wolf’s standards for engineering excellence. Has comprehensive knowledge of software development practices, mastery over writing and debugging code, and also provides feedback to others on the team to understand the same. Performs complex programming tasks and implements software systems, often including other team members as part of the effort. Assumes responsibility for the quality and delivery of their code. Participates in architecture reviews and technical design sessions. Completes major product features with little or no guidance. Able to resolve dependencies across other teams.

Work is primarily sedentary in nature and can be executed sitting or standing positions in an office environment. Requires ability to utilize technology related to using a keyboard, verbal communication, and work with device screens which require visual acuity. If located in a company office, often requires the mobility to physically navigate space. In the event of business travel, mobility is sufficient to utilize public and private transport and navigate to essential locations. May include moving or lifting of 25 pounds or less (e.g. office chair, reams of paper).
