Job summary

WNS Holdings in Pune is seeking a Senior Director Transition (Individual Contributor) to drive end-to-end transition and transformation programs for global insurance clients, ensuring a seamless move of processes, people, and technology into steady-state operations.

You will own multi-workstream delivery, govern timelines, RAID, and risk management, coordinating with senior client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of project or transition management experience.
• Proven delivery of multi-workstream transitions in global operations.
• Strong client-facing leadership with senior stakeholders (Director/VP/CXO).
• Insurance operations transition experience strongly preferred.
• Exposure to F&A transitions (RTR/PTP/OTC) beneficial.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred.
• Experience managing global, distributed teams.
• Strong commercial, financial, and contractual management skills.
• Strong experience in Transition/Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex transitions across workstreams (process, people, technology, knowledge transfer, stabilization).
• Create and manage project plans, charters, RAID logs, and transition documentation.
• Coordinate across operations, technology, HR, finance, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Ensure milestones, deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs are achieved per contractual commitments.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and escalation/mitigation of risks and issues proactively.
• Manage scope/change control and ensure contract adherence.
• Drive smooth handover from transition to steady-state operations.
