Job summary

JLL is seeking a professional to drive workplace strategy and space planning across offices. You will analyze space utilization, seat demand and occupancy, benchmark standards, and support finance with chargeback related data.

You will coordinate CAD-based studies, prepare reports and presentations, and help evolve design guidelines for global consistency.

Responsibilities

• Has expert level understanding of future of work initiatives in Office Occupier Domain and can provide benchmarked learnings for workplace standards and design guidelines.
• Oversee global consistency by working with Global Space Operators to ensure uniform practices.
• Review space utilization, seat demand, occupancy levels and provide actionable recommendations.
• Perform benchmarking, tagging and spatial analytics using floor plans and basic spreadsheets.
• Ensure data quality through cross checks with hires/terms reports and monthly QA processes.
• Support RE Strategy team with analysis of current and proposed workplaces.
• Carry out CAD-based space planning studies and test fits for new and existing offices.
• Prepare presentations and monthly reports detailing budget, schedule risks and milestones.
• Understand and evolve workplace standards and design guidelines for ongoing application.
• Contribute to global month-end chargeback, data cleanup and regional reporting.

Job description

• Has an expert level understanding of future of work related initiatives being undertaken within the Office Occupier Domain (across different industry sets) & is able provide benchmarked learnings for workplace standards, design guidelines, cost optimizing initiatives, space planning innovations, occupancy charge back process, migration plans based on business adjacencies, amongst others.
• Working with Global Space Operators to oversee global consistency
• Review, analyze and provide recommendations based on space utilization, seat demand and occupancy levels
• Benchmarking, tagging, spatial analytics using floor plans and spreadsheet programs. Analyzing divisional attendance, hires and terms, growth, hiring bulge data and reporting.
• Administering data quality checks – responsible for data maintenance including cross checking with employee hires and terms reports, centralized monthly quality control, interact with Finance regarding issues related to the occupancy charge back process, and enforce the appropriate processes for data changes.
• Providing data to support RE Strategy team to carry out analysis and evaluation of workplace both existing and proposed.
• Performing space planning studies using CAD drawings test fits of new and existing offices in support of ad hoc project and reporting requirement
• Preparing presentations, divisional documentation, monthly reports, project updates and postings, detailing project status including budget and schedule risks, opportunities, decisions required, milestones etc.
• Understanding workplace standards and design guidelines with the intent of supporting their on-going application and evolution
• Global month-end chargeback, data clean up, month end reporting globally and regionally.
• Assist in development of migration plans and strategies based on business adjacencies, regulatory & compliance requirements, etc.
• Participate / coordinate project and move coordination meetings. Develop migration plans and sequencing of moves / relocations.
• Maintaining drawings – ensuring floor layouts (mainly furniture) are updated (requires CAD experience to make any changes to floor drawings)
• Implement Future of Work-related initiatives, review and analyze utilization studies, workstyle survey recommendations. Measure, monitor, and report cost saving and value-added contributions.
