Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps / SysOps Engineer to lead and support enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives across hybrid environments. This role demands deep technical expertise in automation, cloud operations, system administration, and infrastructure-as-code. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud) with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.
- Administer and optimize Linux/Unix systems (RHEL, SuSE, Debian) in production environments.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools, including API integrations and ETL pipelines.
- Create and manage Bash/Shell scripts for system monitoring, automation, and scheduled tasks.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including dynamic secrets management and cloud-native deployments.
- Implement and manage Configuration Management solutions (Ansible, Puppet) for consistent system state and orchestration.
- Design and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and OpenTofu.
- Operate and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including compute, networking, IAM, and monitoring services.
- Provide support for VMware, Windows Server, and legacy systems as part of hybrid infrastructure operations.
- Architect and deploy PaaS and IaaS solutions in multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments.
- Apply best practices in system planning, security hardening, and operational excellence, including compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in enterprise-scale DevOps and SysOps roles, managing hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem and cloud), with a strong emphasis on automation, reliability engineering, and system lifecycle management.
- Advanced Linux/Unix systems administration expertise (RHEL, SuSE, Debian), including performance tuning, patching, and secure configuration in production environments.
- Proficient in Python for building automation scripts, integrating APIs, developing ETL pipelines, and creating custom tooling for infrastructure and deployment workflows.
- Strong Bash/Shell scripting skills for system automation, monitoring, log parsing, and scheduled task orchestration (cron, systemd timers).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions, including dynamic secrets management, environment provisioning, and cloud‑native deployment strategies.
- Expertise in Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or similar, for enforcing system state, managing fleet configurations, and orchestrating updates.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, OpenTofu, or equivalent tools, with experience in modular design, state management, and cloud resource provisioning.
- 5–7 years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure, including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
- Working knowledge of virtualization and legacy systems, including VMware, Windows Server, and Linux, for hybrid infrastructure support and migration planning.
- Broad experience in cloud architecture and operations, including deploying and managing PaaS and IaaS solutions across multi‑cloud and multi‑vendor environments.
- Proven track record in system planning, security hardening, and operational best practices, including backup strategies, incident response, and compliance alignment (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
