Job summary

e-Stone Information Technology Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure across cloud platforms and on-prem environments.

You will build and manage CI/CD pipelines, champion IaC practices, and collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and performance. A strong software development background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong background in software development (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, etc.).
• Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system architecture.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

You will work closely with the development, operations, and security teams to streamline and automate our deployment processes, improve system performance, and manage our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design and Management

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
