Job summary

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions in Ahmedabad, India seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure to design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure. You will work with Cloud/Solution Architects, developers, and SREs to implement IaC, automation, and secure networking.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor systems with Prometheus/Grafana, and optimize performance and availability. Strong Azure, Terraform, Python, and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on Azure cloud infrastructure design, build, test and support.
• Strong experience with Azure services, networking, compute, storage, identity and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNet, subnets, NSGs, VPN, DNS, endpoints).
• Experience with Linux and Windows admin, and AKS for container workloads.
• CI/CD design and maintenance, preferably with Azure DevOps; Docker experience as well.
• Knowledge of cloud security, RBAC, Key Vault, secrets management; monitoring platforms.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Cloud Architects, Solution Architects, Developers, SRE, and Engineering teams to design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions for products and services.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure , ensuring scalability, security, reliability, performance, and operational supportability.
• Create and maintain infrastructure architecture diagrams, technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks for Azure environments.
• Develop, automate, and test end-to-end cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management tools.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python , including automated provisioning, configuration, scaling, and operational tasks.
• Design and optimize Azure networking and cloud connectivity , including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, VPN, DNS, and Firewall.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes/AKS and containerized workloads , including cluster configuration, application deployment, scaling, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application and infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
• Develop and enhance infrastructure architecture, performance optimization, capacity planning, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions to support 99.9%+ uptime.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana to proactively identify infrastructure and application issues.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop new technology initiatives focused on availability, scalability, security, performance, automation, and supportability .
• Troubleshoot complex Azure, Kubernetes, networking, Linux, Windows, and CI/CD issues and participate in root-cause analysis and production support.
• Establish and enforce cloud, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and automation best practices across environments.
• Stay current with emerging Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, automation, security, and cloud-native technologies and continuously improve technical capabilities.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across Architecture, Engineering, Development, Security, QA, Operations, and Product teams .
• Prepare and deliver weekly technical updates and presentations on completed work, infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and technical solutions to senior team members and team leads.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, networking, compute, storage, identity, security, and monitoring .
• Proficiency in Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python for infrastructure automation and scripting.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and cloud connectivity , including VNet, Subnets, NSGs, Routing, VPN, DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, and Private Endpoints.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and best practices .
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) .
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines , preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments .
• Understanding of cloud security, RBAC, Managed Identity, Key Vault, secrets management, and secure infrastructure practices .
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent monitoring/observability platforms .
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
