Job summary

Momentive Software in Pune, India is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. You will build robust IaC, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliability and security across multi-cloud environments.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance performance, implement observability, and drive automation across deployments and operations. Join a mission-driven team focused on helping nonprofits scale their impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure).
• Strong IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Proficiency in Linux admin and shell scripting.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Solid Docker/Kubernetes knowledge and container orchestration.
• Observability, monitoring, and logging experience.
• Security best practices for cloud/DevOps workflows.
• Proficient in Python/Go/Bash and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC workflows with Terraform, ArgoCD, or CloudFormation.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize app performance and deployment workflows.
• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging (DataDog, Grafana, ELK).
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and incidents.
• Drive automation across infra, deployments, and ops tasks.
• Contribute to DevOps strategy, tooling standards, and playbooks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ArgoCD, or CloudFormation
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application performance and deployment workflows
• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging (e.g., DataDog, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, incidents, and service degradation
• Drive automation efforts across infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks
• Contribute to DevOps strategy, tooling standards, and operational playbooks
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure)
• Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Proficiency in Linux systems administration and shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI)
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Familiarity with observability stacks (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• Experience with security best practices for cloud and DevOps workflows
• Proficient in scripting/programming (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)
• Jira/Confluence Experience

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD, Terraform Associate)
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
• Familiarity with Helm, ArgoCD, Kustomize
• Experience with Software Development Methodologies
