Job summary

TechBrein India seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Kozhikode, Kerala, to design and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and IaC, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and automation across enterprise and SaaS environments.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible, and collaborate with development teams to enable cloud-native architectures and microservices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in AWS services (EKS, ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS).
• Proficient in building cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform (mandatory) and CloudFormation/Ansible.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with message queues: SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging/tracing: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
• Understanding of networking, security, IAM in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and containerized applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and related services.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable cloud-native architectures, microservices, and messaging systems (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Implement observability with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Partner with MIR team to establish SRE practices including monitoring and incident management.
• Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability planning across environments.
• Improve release processes and deployment strategies with DevOps best practices.
• Drive DevSecOps and GitOps adoption for secure, automated deployments.
• Identify root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and prevent recurrence.
• Mentor engineers and foster reliability and automation culture.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on building reliable, secure, and high-performance systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enable cloud-native architectures, improve deployment processes, and ensure system reliability across enterprise and SaaS environments.
