Vantura is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own infrastructure, automation and delivery pipelines behind our multi-tenant SaaS platform on AWS. You will collaborate with the engineering team to improve reliability, security and release velocity from Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Excellent candidates will be proficient with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AI-assisted workflows, and will lead incident response while mentoring junior engineers in a 5‑day work week.

Formación

• 4–8 years of hands‑on DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong AWS expertise with production Kubernetes experience.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (CloudFormation / Pulumi also considered).
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Bash.
• Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Docker and container orchestration fundamentals.
• Hands‑on with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar, used regularly in real engineering work — writing and reviewing code and configuration, debugging and documentation.
• Good judgement on where AI helps and where its output needs checking.
• Strong Linux administration and networking knowledge.
• Git and branching strategy experience in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across Bitbucket Pipelines and Azure DevOps for multi-environment deployment.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform (EKS/ECS, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route 53).
• Operate Kubernetes in production with Helm, autoscaling, blue-green and canary rollouts.
• Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or ELK with SLIs/SLOs.
• Own platform security: secrets management, least-privilege IAM, scanning and audit readiness.
• Track and optimize cloud costs; report savings.
• Use AI tools in scripting, manifests, log analysis, troubleshooting with verification.
• Participate in on-call rotation; lead incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Automate repetitive ops work via scripting and internal tooling.
• Maintain infrastructure docs, runbooks and disaster recovery procedures; test periodically.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards.

Vantura is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, automation and delivery pipelines behind our multi-tenant SaaS platform on AWS. You will work closely with the engineering team to improve reliability, security and release velocity.

We expect our engineers to use AI tools well. You should be comfortable working with AI assistants day-to-day, writing and reviewing scripts and IaC, debugging, documentation, and speeding up routine operational work while knowing when to verify the output and when not to rely on it at all.

This is a full-time, work-from-office role based in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, with a 5-day working week.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket Pipelines and Azure DevOps covering build, automated testing, artifact management and multi-environment deployment
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform EKS/ECS, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route 53 with all changes version-controlled and peer-reviewed
• Operate Kubernetes in production: Helm-based deployments, horizontal and cluster autoscaling, blue-green and canary rollouts, resource right-sizing
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or ELK, with defined SLIs and SLOs
• Own platform security: secrets management (Vault / AWS Secrets Manager), least-privilege IAM, container and dependency scanning, and audit readiness
• Track and optimise cloud cost right-size resources and report savings
• Use AI tools effectively in daily work scripting, Terraform and Kubernetes manifests, log analysis, troubleshooting and documentation with sound judgement on verifying what they produce
• Participate in the on-call rotation, lead incident response and drive blameless post-mortems to closure
• Automate repetitive operational work through scripting and internal tooling
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks and disaster recovery procedures, and test them periodically
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards across the team

Required Skills

• Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks
• Database administration and backup/restore experience
