Job summary

Rise Analytics, a Trellance Company, seeks a Platform & DevOps Engineer to accelerate cloud initiatives by building scalable, secure, automated platforms that boost developer productivity. You will work with Cloud Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Product Engineering to deliver self-service platforms, automate software delivery, observability, and AI-powered capabilities across the SDLC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years hands-on DevOps/SRE or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong Azure skills: AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Entra ID.
  • Experience with AIOps, anomaly detection and AI-assisted root-cause analysis.
  • DevSecOps practices: code scanning, secrets management, policy-as-code.
  • Kubernetes and containerization expertise.
  • IaC with Terraform or Bicep; GitOps with ArgoCD or Rancher.
  • Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash; CI/CD design and optimization.
  • Observability and tracing knowledge; familiarity with SRE principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms (AKS) with high availability and scalability.
  • Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform, or Bicep, or similar tools.
  • Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD/ FluxCD for automated application deployments.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
  • Integrate AI-powered developer tools to improve engineering productivity.
  • Design self-service developer capabilities through Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and Backstage or similar frameworks.
  • Implement observability/ monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Fluent-bit, Datadog or Azure Monitor.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, including code scanning, container security, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
  • Improve cloud cost efficiency through FinOps best practices.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish platform standards, reusable templates, and automation frameworks.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Platform & DevOps Engineer to accelerate our cloud engineering initiatives by building scalable, secure, and automated platforms that enhance developer productivity and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about Cloud Native technologies, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, AI-assisted software delivery, and modern DevOps practices.

You will work closely with Cloud Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Product Engineering teams to deliver self-service platforms, automate software delivery, improve observability, and integrate AI-powered capabilities into the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps/SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services, especially AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, and Entra ID.
  • Hands‑on exposure to AIOps tooling: anomaly detection, predictive alerting, AI-assisted root‑cause analysis
  • DevSecOps practice: pipeline‑embedded vulnerability scanning, secrets management, policy‑as‑code
  • Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or Bicep.
  • Experience implementing GitOps using ArgoCD or Rancher.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of observability tools and distributed tracing.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, or Veracode.
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Platform Engineering concepts and Internal Developer Platforms.
  • Working knowledge of AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code or similar tools (ex: Cursor, Windsurf).
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices.
  • Basic understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, or MCP.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services, Banking, FinTech).
  • Exposure to MLOps concepts and AI application deployment.
  • Familiarity with SRE principles
