Job summary

Nected in Gurugram is seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to own end-to-end infrastructure for multiple products. You will design, build, and operate scalable cloud systems on AWS, maintain IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm for reliable releases.

Required 6+ years of DevOps experience, strong AWS expertise, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD proficiency, plus scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps/cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (mandatory) and working knowledge of Azure.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Helm charts and microservices deployment.
• Strong experience with Terraform (primary) and CloudFormation.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of networking, load balancers, DNS, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK stack, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash / Python).
• Experience handling production systems and incident management.
• Ability to independently manage and own infrastructure for a product.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (SOC 2 etc.).
• Experience in high-scale or startup environments.
• Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end infrastructure and deployment lifecycle for one or more products.

• Ensure high system reliability, uptime, and performance through monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and cost optimization across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quick resolution with minimal downtime.
• Manage secrets, access controls, and cloud security best practices (IAM, networking, encryption).
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to enable faster and safer releases.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for scalability and maintainability.
