Overview

Publicis Sapient is looking for Senior Mobile Developers to bring deep, hands-on technology expertise to the Mobile platform and will be responsible for supporting delivery teams through architecture, design, and building in the capacity of a technology subject matter expert on the Mobile platform. Work on high-performance consumer-facing apps and implement robust app architectures and complex user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Component design and coding of new features, including unit tests, debugging, and resolving defects.
• Understand available frameworks for iOS application development.
• Follow best coding practices using Apple programming guidelines.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to support architecture and design on the Mobile platform.
• Research and adopt new technologies and best practices; bring a strong, innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to development of high-performance consumer-facing apps.

Qualifications

• Min 4-6 years of experience in iOS development; technically strong using Swift; worked on the latest version of Swift.
• Strong knowledge of Core Frameworks (Core Data, GCD, NSOperation, Core Graphics, Core Animation, UIKit, AVKit, AVFoundation).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and design patterns; proficiency in iOS app development.
• Have published at least 3 iOS apps on the App Store.
• Knowledge of mobile security and cryptography is an advantage.
• Familiar with tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins or similar; experience with Agile methodology.
• Good communication skills; fluent in English.
• Experience with Instruments, memory leak and crash diagnosis; understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous concepts.
• Experience with design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER) and architectures; Experience integrating third-party frameworks (CocoaPods, Carthage).
• Experience logging and analyzing user navigation and app usage (Google Analytics/ Firebase, Crashlytics).
• Experience designing UIs using Xcode, Interface Builder, Storyboard, Size Classes, and Auto Layout.
