Job summary

Align Technology seeks a Sr. iOS Developer to join the India Delivery Center in Hyderabad. You will design scalable iOS architectures, contribute to consumer-facing apps, and collaborate with product, UI/UX, QA, and backend teams.

You will develop, test, and maintain apps using Swift, lead code reviews, implement tests, and drive CI/CD practices while mentoring peers. The ideal candidate has 8+ years building native iOS apps, 3+ years Swift UI, and strong knowledge of GraphQL/REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building native iOS apps with the latest SDKs.
• 3+ years of Swift UI experience is required.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST API concepts; solid design patterns and SOLID.
• Proficient in CI/CD processes and Git source control.
• Experience distributing apps via App Store and working in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in distributed teams and mentoring others.

This position is ideal for senior level professionals to join the mobile development team as a Sr. iOS Developer, responsible for design and implementation of mobile applications. As a Sr. iOS developer, the candidate will be a contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for the company. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience in developing scalable and secure iOS mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable and modular application architectures.
• Responsible for contributing to and being a champion of consumer facing iOS apps.
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend teams to propose efficient user experience solutions.
• Develop, test and maintain iOS applications using Swift. Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of the apps.
• Perform and lead code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain code quality.
• Implement Unit Tests, UI tests, and work with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure app follows Apple’s security guidelines.
• Prepare and submit apps to App store.
• Mentor other developers, ensuring the quality of their code and design.
• Demonstrate teamwork skills with a solid foundation on iOS/hybrid frameworks.
• Highly motivated, creative, self-learner, excellent communication and presentation skills.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in building native mobile apps in iOS platform using latest SDK versions.
• Experience in hybrid/android mobile application is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in Swift UI is a must.
• Good understanding of mobile development frameworks and platforms, device manufacturers and mobile browsers.
• Ability to distribute app using Appstore distribution.
• Good understanding of mobile apps CI/CD process.
• Experience with Graph QL, REST API concepts, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Good knowledge in profiling apps using instruments.
• Experience in writing automation tests and Unit tests.
• Experience in using Git source control.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
