Qualifications

Job Purpose

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, responsive, and accessible web applications that support digital travel platforms. Focuses on creating scalable front-end solutions using Angular and React, developing reusable components, integrating with backend services, and ensuring optimal user experiences across platforms and devices. Contributes to the Software Engineering function by delivering reliable, efficient, and innovative web solutions while following established development standards, security practices, and organizational procedures.

Focuses on creating scalable front-end solutions using Angular and React, developing reusable components, integrating with backend services, and ensuring optimal user experiences across platforms and devices. Contributes to the Software Engineering function by delivering reliable, efficient, and innovative web solutions while following established development standards, security practices, and organizational procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using Angular and React frameworks.
• Define and maintain front-end architecture, reusable component libraries, coding standards, and development best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to front-end developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement integrations with RESTful and GraphQL APIs while ensuring effective application state management and seamless user experiences.
• Drive technical estimation, sprint planning, solution design, and technical decision-making to support the successful delivery of front-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance, rendering efficiency, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility by applying industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, quality assurance teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. With 6-8 years of front-end development experience on production web applications. Travel, airline, or e-commerce platform experience is preferred.

Work Experience

• Fluent in English Language
• Strong hands-on expertise in Angular and React frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
• Experience with state management frameworks such as NgRx, Redux, or similar solutions.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and managing asynchronous data operations.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks including Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of micro front-end architecture and module federation concepts is preferred.
• Experience in travel, airline, or e-commerce domains is preferred.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and web performance optimization techniques.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
