Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions India in Hyderabad is seeking a Technical Lead for the Developer Experience team. You will guide day-to-day technical execution, unblock engineers, and enable the team to consistently deliver.

You will own backlog, coordinate across teams, and contribute to design discussions with Node.js and Java, while embedding AI to improve developer productivity across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical lead for the India Developer Experience team - guiding day-to-day technical execution, unblocking engineers, and enabling the team to consistently deliver.
• Stakeholder Communication & Requirements Gathering: Engage with multiple stakeholders and teams across the organization to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and engineering execution.
• Backlog Ownership: Own and maintain an up-to-date, well-groomed backlog for the India team, translating stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable, and prioritized backlog items.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Coordinate with multiple teams to sequence work, resolve dependencies, and keep initiatives on track.
• Technical Contribution: Stay hands-on and technically credible, contribute directly to design discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving using Node.js and Java where needed.
• Deployments & Networking: Apply working knowledge of deployment pipelines, environments, and core networking concepts to guide the team on infrastructure and release-related decisions.
• Embedding AI: Bring practical experience with AI and AI-based tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of developers, and to enhance productivity across the SDLC.
• Building Developer-Centric Culture: Cultivate a developer-friendly culture that emphasizes continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
• Improving Development Processes: Streamline development workflows, implement best practices, and remove bottlenecks to optimize the developer's journey from code creation to deployment.
• Tools and Infrastructure Management: Evaluate, select, and manage tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that empower developers to build, test, and deploy software efficiently.
• Team Enablement: Implement training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing so the India team stays enabled, upskilled, and able to grow technically.
• Developer Advocacy: Advocate for developers' needs and represent their interests in decision-making processes to ensure a developer-centric approach across the organization.
• Continuous Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms for continuous feedback collection from developers to identify pain points, gather insights, and drive continuous improvement in developer experience.
• Monitoring and Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure developer satisfaction, productivity, and engagement, and use data-driven insights to drive improvements.
• Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in developer experience to stay innovative and competitive.
• Platform Utilization: Ensuring that Broadridge Enterprise Platforms are fit for purpose and easy to use/adopt.
