The ideal candidate will be responsible for upgrading, customizing, and integrating Duck Creek applications to ensure a smooth transition to the latest versions. This role demands a deep understanding of the Duck Creek platform, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in delivering high quality solutions in insurance domains.Responsibilities:

• Lead the upgrade efforts from existing versions to newer Duck Creek versions, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition.
• Analyze existing configurations, forms, rules, and plugins to identify upgrade impacts and propose necessary changes.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements related to Policy, Billing, or Claims functionalities.
• Customize and configure Duck Creek modules to align with the latest version requirements.
• Conduct data migrations, system validation, and performance tuning as part of the upgrade process.
• Provide technical support post-upgrade, identifying and resolving any production issues.
• Work closely with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure robust testing of upgraded components.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Technologies (Policy, Billing, or Claims modules).
• Proven experience in version upgrades of Duck Creek applications, including gap analysis and impact assessment.
• Strong understanding of Duck Creek Platform (Author, Express, Example Services, and Skins).
• Expertise in C#, .NET, and Duck Creek’s XML-based configuration and JSON plugins.
• Experience with SQL for data migration and transformation during upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of integration technologies like REST/SOAP APIs and middleware for smooth module connectivity.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with onshore-offshore development models.
• Familiarity with insurance products across policy, billing, or claims modules.
• Prior experience in Duck Creek or other P&C insurance platforms is a plus.
