Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Software Developer to design and implement Windows desktop client-server applications using C# and WPF. The role involves building automated tests with NUnit, Moq, SpecFlow and NCover, and ensuring quality through RCA and traceability artifacts.

Role requires 5-8 years of software development experience and strong knowledge of C#.NET, WinForms, XML, UML and OOAD, with preference for WPF and testing tools. Hybrid work option offered from Pune.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 5-8 years of demonstrable experience in Software Development.
• Strong skills in C#.NET, WinForms, XML, UML and OOAD.
• Experience with design patterns and UML modelling.
• Preference for WPF and automated testing tools (NUnit, Moq, SpecFlow, NCover).
• Understanding of cross-platform development in .NET.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Windows desktop client-server applications using C# and WPF (preferred).
• Design and implement automated unit tests using NUnit, Moq, SpecFlow, NCover, etc.
• Follow processes and quality standards: produce artifacts, review logs, RCA, traceability matrix, participate in audits and gates.
• Interface with Switzerland and Chicago development teams and product owners.
• Represent topics clearly in sprint demos and client meetings.

• Designing and implementing Windows desktop based client-server applications using C# and WPF (preferred) using OOAD methodology.
• You have to Design and implement automated unit tests using NUnit, Moq, SpecFlow, NCover, etc.
• You should adhere to Process & Quality: Produce artifacts – Review logs, RCA, Traceability Matrix, Perform RCA, help / participate in events such as Process Audits, Quality Gates, Project Status Reviews.
• You will be Responsible for Interfacing with Switzerland and Chicago development teams, product owners.
• You should Fluently represent topics in various forums e.g. sprint demos, client meetings, etc.
