Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Senior Designer - Electrical in India (Delhi) to execute electrical layout work using SP3D and AutoCAD. You will model, route cables, design earthing layouts, and generate MTOs from 3D models while ensuring adherence to project schedules and QA standards.

The role requires 14+ years in EPC/detail design with expertise in substation layouts, cable routing, and hazardous area considerations. Strong coordination with engineering leads is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 14 years of EPC/detail design experience.
• Expertise in Layout engineering including Cable Routing, Earthing layouts, Lighting layouts, and associated modeling with SP3D.
• Proficient with SP3D and AutoCAD; experience in model reviews and 3D coordination.

Responsibilities

• Execute design work packages using SP3D/AutoCAD and ensure quality per QA checklist.
• Model and layout design, generate MTOs from 3D models, and support project timelines.
• Check drawings, review vendor drawings, and ensure proper documentation per Quality Plan.
• Coordinate with leads, report progress, and manage scope changes through Change Management.
• Contribute to substation/layout and cable routing studies including trench/tray sizing.
