Job summary

Air Liquide India in Delhi is seeking a Senior Designer - Electrical to join the project execution team. You will model and detail electrical layouts, perform cable routing, conduit sizing, and earth/ground layouts using SP3D and AutoCAD.

You will review vendor drawings, generate MTOs from 3D models, support substation layout design, and ensure QA compliance with the project quality plan. Collaboration with leads and interdisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Layout engineering including Cable Routing (above & underground) & cable length estimation.
• Conduit & Tray Sizing, Earthing/Grounding Layouts, Lighting Layouts, and Circuiting.
• Modeling of Trays, bends and accessories in SP3D; bulk MTO extraction from 3D model.
• Substation layout design and cable cellar tray arrangement; inputs to civil.
• Single Line Diagram preparation in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and coordination to manage interdiscipline workflow.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute work packages using design tools and ensure QA compliance as per project plan.
• Modeling and layout detail design for discipline deliverables.
• Generate layouts, installation drawings, and MTOs from 3D models.
• Check drawings and MTOs; review vendor drawings related to plant design.
• Prepare 3D model extractions for cable routing, earthing, and lighting layouts.
• Coordinate with Lead Engineer on progress and changes to scope.
