Asian Paints is seeking a Wallpaper Designer with 2-3 years of proven experience in wallpaper and surface pattern design for interior projects in Mumbai.

You will collaborate with the design team to develop new collections, translate client briefs into production-ready files, and ensure high-quality print outputs using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Strong color theory, trends awareness, and teamwork are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of wallpaper/surface pattern design experience.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Wallpaper Designer with 2-3 years of proven experience in wallpaper / print designer The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our design team to develop new collections and work on custom design projects, Wallpaper designs for new launches and catalogue design The candidate must possess strong technical expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with a keen eye for trends, patterns, and color palettes

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with in-house designers and creative teams to develop new wallpaper collectionsDesign custom wallpaper based on client requirements and project briefsDesign Catalogues and promotional materialsResearch design trends, patterns, textures, and color themes to create innovative and market-relevant designsPrepare and finalize print-ready files while ensuring high-quality outputsCoordinate with production teams to ensure seamless execution of designsWork on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesMaintain organized design files, mood boards, and reference materials

Requirements

1. 3 years of experience in wallpaper or surface pattern design experience in textile or interior design is a plusProficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator knowledge of additional design software is a plusStrong understanding of color theory, repeat patterns, and print production processesAbility to translate design concepts into production-ready filesCreative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior experience with interior design brands, print design or wallpaper companiesFamiliarity with custom design workflows and client coordinationKnowledge of current design and dcor trends
