Senior Design Engineer - Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Foundation Design Expert - Civil & Structural

Are you passionate about designing foundations that power the future of renewable energy? Join our team and contribute to world-class Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) foundation designs for large-scale renewable projects.

Function: Technical | Reports to: Head of Engineering Design (Renewables)

What You’ll Do

• Design and optimize WTG foundations – gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, ribbed beam, shallow mat, etc.
• Perform load & stress calculations (gravity, wind, seismic, fatigue) ensuring structural integrity.
• Select cost-effective, sustainable construction materials aligned with international standards.
• Prepare/review design documents: Structural Design Basis Reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculation packages.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, electrical, and civil experts to deliver holistic project designs.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, EUROCODE and other international standards.
• Support certification processes with external consultants and agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement while balancing safety, quality, and cost optimization.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred).
• Master’s in Structural/Civil Engineering (Advanced Structural Analysis preferred).

Experience:

• 8–12 years in the Power & Utilities / Renewable Energy sector with proven WTG foundation design expertise.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in software: STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
• Strong knowledge in geotechnical risk assessment, seismic hazard analysis, hydrological risk assessment.
• Expertise in wind turbine foundation design.
