AECOM is seeking a Design Coordinator - Wind PMC to manage engineering interfaces, design reviews, and technical coordination for utility-scale wind projects. The role will ensure timely design approvals, IFC readiness, design compliance, and effective coordination between OEMs, EPC contractors, construction teams, and commissioning stakeholders to support safe and efficient project execution.

You will track IFC deliverables, manage RFIs and design comments, verify revision status, and escalate

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• M.Tech or specialized design qualification preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in wind energy or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating wind project engineering deliverables across PMC/EPC/OEM environments.
• Experience with IFC deliverables and construction readiness.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate review and tracking of IFC deliverables for foundations, roads, cable routes, and grid interfaces.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries (TQs), design comments, and interface actions with OEMs and contractors.
• Verify drawing revisions and ensure approved designs are available before construction starts.
• Track design changes, deviations, and as-built documentation throughout project execution.
• Coordinate engineering inputs to resolve site constraints, construction challenges, and commissioning interfaces.
• Monitor compliance with IEC, IS, CEA, and project-specific standards.
• Escalate critical design issues impacting installation, sequencing, schedules or safety.

Design Coordinator Wind PMC

Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a Design Coordinator - Wind PMC to manage engineering interfaces, design reviews, and technical coordination for utility-scale wind energy projects. The role will ensure timely design approvals, IFC readiness, design compliance, and effective coordination between OEMs, EPC contractors, construction teams, and commissioning stakeholders to support safe and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate review and tracking of IFC deliverables for WTG foundations, ground improvement works, roads, crane pads, cable routes, USS, earthing, SCADA, communication systems, and grid interfaces.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries (TQs), design comments, and engineering interface actions with OEMs, contractors, and project teams.
• Verify drawing revision status and ensure approved designs are available before construction activities commence.
• Track design changes, deviations, and as-built documentation requirements throughout project execution.
• Coordinate engineering inputs required to resolve site constraints, construction challenges, and commissioning interface issues.
• Monitor compliance with applicable IEC, IS, CEA, and project-specific standards.
• Escalate critical design issues impacting WTG installation, construction sequencing, project schedules, or safety.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• M.Tech or specialized design qualification preferred.

Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in wind energy, renewable energy, or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating wind project engineering deliverables, including WTG foundations, BoP infrastructure, substations, cabling, and SCADA systems.
• Exposure to PMC, Owner's Engineer, EPC, or OEM environments is preferred.
