Stryker Corporation in Gurugram, India is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to create and manage detailed CAD drawings and specifications. You will work with engineers to resolve design issues, maintain drafting standards, and support prototype development and validation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include creating manufacturing drawings per ISO/ASME standards, applying GD&T, and training others in CAD practices while ensuring compliance with customer specs and company standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.
• 5–7 years of overall experience in mechanical design.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.
• Experience designing both plastic and metal components and proficiency in Creo Parametric.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using CAD software.
• Creates, modifies and controls detailed 2D/3D parts and assembly drawings from engineers' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions.
• Generate manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings according to ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
• Resolve design details or discrepancies with design originators.
• Develops and maintains drafting standards; transfer drawings between systems as needed.
• Provide CAD training to others and execute routing design projects, including stack up analysis.
• Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and fit requirements.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support prototype development and design validation; cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

## Senior Design EngineerApply: Gurugram, India: Full time: Posted Today: R574580Work Flexibility: Onsite **What you will do-*** Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software (preferably Creo).* Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions.* Generate manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.* Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies.* Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures; Transfer and translate drawings from one computer system to another as needed.* Will provide CAD training to others and execute routing design projects, to include stack up analysis, part design, and related tasks.* Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and fit requirements Prepare engineering change notices (ECN/ECO) and revision updates* Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, BOMs, and design records and ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.* Support prototype development and design validation; cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives. **What you will need-****Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.* Experience- 5 years- 7 years* Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.* Experience designing both plastic and metal components and proficient in CAD tools : Creo Parametric **Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and Teamcenter.* Knowledge of product lifecycle management and configuration control.* Exposure to consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive, or aerospace products.
