ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel in India is seeking a senior Plant Design Engineer to drive concept-to-handover for capital projects. You will design plant layouts, develop PFDs and P&IDs, and ensure engineering meets industry standards.

Expertise in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is required, with 12+ years in mechanical design for process or cement/food sectors. This on-site role emphasizes documentation, BOMs, and clear progress reporting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Plant Engineering Design.
• Fluency in code and standards.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & detail engineering of layout, structural, hoppers equipment in AutoCAD with BOM.
• Design and develop PFDs and P&IDs in AutoCAD / Inventor.
• Design, develop and release/maintain technical specifications used during the whole project life cycle.
• Ensure plant design and engineering are of high quality and aligned with industry best practices.
• Communicate and document project progress, findings and experiences and drive improvements.
• Check drawings of own work for accuracy.
• Candidates from Cement/Process Industry/Feed/Sugar/Argo/Grain handling are preferred.
• Fluency in code and standards.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to support the strategy of Contract Execution of Capital orders towards best contract execution within the responsibility of plant Engineering and layout of plants. Documentation of plant design from concept to final Customer documentation in a formalized way

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 12+ years of experience in Plant Engineering Design
• Good knowledge in the Material handling equipment's like Bucket elevator, screw conveyors, chain conveyor, belt conveyor.
• Good experience in drafting & detail engineering of layout, Structural, hoppers equipment's in AutoCAD with B.O.M.
• To design and develop PFD's and P&IDs in AutoCAD / inventor
• To design, develop and release/maintain technical specifications used during the whole project life cycle.
• Plant Design Engineer is responsible that both the design and engineering are done of high quality and in accordance with industry best practice standards/level.
• Must be responsible for plant engineering and plant design - in terms of technical specifications, process, and layout design - from the conceptual design to final handover of the project.
• To communicate and document the project progress, findings and experiences and drive improvements within his/her project.
• To be able to check the drawings of his own.
• Candidates from Cement/Process Industry/Feed/Sugar/Argo/Grain handling are preferred.
