Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Chennai seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to provide CAD support, create 3D models and drawings from sketches, and assist fabrication and testing. You will help generate technical documentation using Word and Excel, and ensure tasks meet deadlines with quality standards.

Candidates should have a solid grasp of mechanics, GD&T, ANSI Y14.5, and drawings; SolidWorks or Creo certification is a plus, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Mechanical engineering 1-3 years.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals (physics, materials, standards).
• Strong knowledge in CAD.
• Certification in SolidWorks/Creo is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge GD&T.
• Good knowledge in ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards.
• Good knowledge in design of jigs and fixtures.
• Should have good communication skills.
