The Opportunity:Implements tactical and operational planning goals to optimize supply, demand, and inventory strategies for a defined portfolio. Contributes to the execution of new planning processes, product launches, or inventory optimization initiatives that impact service levels, cost efficiency, and overall departmental performance. Manages planning projects or processes, such as supply/demand balancing under constrained capacity, scenario planning, or safety stock optimization. Solves planning problems involving cross-functional variables such as forecast accuracy, lead times, asset utilization, and market fluctuations, often deriving solutions from limited data or historical precedents. Regularly communicates with internal teams across procurement, operations, finance, and commercial, and may coordinate directly with external vendors, contract manufacturers, or key customers.
